Uzbekistan to start production of Volkswagen Caddy in July
In order to accelerate the process, a batch of Volkswagen Caddy cars was delivered to Uzbekistan, and handed over to an authorized certification body with the aim of undergoing special procedures for climate testing and homologation.
In March of the current year, Uzavtosanoat and the Volkswagen Group Rus signed an agreement to arrange light commercial vehicles production in Jizzakh automobile plant.
In order to accelerate the process, a batch of Volkswagen Caddy cars was delivered to Uzbekistan and handed over to an authorized certification body with the aim of undergoing special procedures for climate testing and homologation.
Meanwhile, a number of car dealer centres is willing to cooperate with Jizzakh-Auto. This will enable to strengthen the network system of the dealership. It is worth noting that the customers will be able to buy German cars in July at official Volkswagen dealerships.
"Each project of the car dealer company was approved individually and in accordance with the corporate concept, focusing on customer convenience at the car dealership the premises."
Moreover, in order to train highly qualified specialists, a special program was developed to train plant employees and dealer companies in pursuant to the robust standards of the Volkswagen brand. The first trainings were held in early May 2020.
The Volkswagen Caddy is a 7 or 5 seat passenger family vehicle (M-segment) which can be transformed into a cargo minivan.
