The budget carrier is going to launch regular flights in the direction of "Abu Dhabi - Tashkent - Abu Dhabi", as well as "Abu Dhabi - Samarkand - Abu Dhabi".
These plans were recently discussed at the MIFT with a delegation from WizzAir Abu Dhabi (UAE) headed by Managing Director Michael Berlui.
According to the plans, flights will be carried out 4 times a week, starting from the fourth quarter of 2022. According to the management of Wizz Air Dhabi, the launch of new flights will satisfy the growing demand for air travel between the UAE and Uzbekistan, ensure the availability of tickets, increase passenger traffic between the two countries, which will ultimately have a positive impact on the development of Uzbekistan's tourism potential.
By the way, WizzAir Abu Dhabi, a low-cost airline based at Abu Dhabi International Airport, is a joint venture between the state investment company of the emirates - ADQ and the international holding Wizz Air Holdings.
