Prices of flour, cottonseed oil and polyethylene decrease

Goods worth 1,989.5 billion soums were sold on all trading platforms of "The Republican Commodity Exchange of Uzbekistan" on April 17-23, 13.4% less than the previous week. This was reported by the press service of the stock exchange.

About 88.8% of the transactions arranged were in stock trading, and the remaining 11.2% were in e-commerce trading systems.

Also, a total of 1,766.9 billion soums worth of commodity resources were sold through open stock market trading, including:

Flour

During the last week, 73,923.0 tons of flour were placed on the market, and 10,966.0 tons, 14.8%, were sold. An average of 457 buyers participated in the auctions every day. The daily average prices of all types of flour decreased from 4,452.7 thousand soums to 4,449.3 thousand soums per ton of the product. The average daily sales volume of flour was 2,742.0 tons.

Cottonseed oil

On April 17-23, 1,103.0 tons of cottonseed oil were sold at the stock market. An average of 50 buyers participated in the auctions every day. The daily average prices of all types of cottonseed oil decreased from 15,799.8 thousand soums to 13,969.4 thousand soums per ton.

Polyethene

3,191.0 tons of polyethene were placed on the stock market and all of them were sold. The average daily volume of polyethene sales was 798.0 tons. The average prices of all polyethene brands decreased from 17,066.0 thousand soums to 16,998.3 thousand soums per ton. An average of 85 buyers participated in the auctions every day.
