Bakhtiyar Torebekov becomes new Minister of Internal Affairs of Karakalpakstan

Bakhtiyar Torebekov has been appointed head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Karakalpakstan.

Before his new appointment, Torebekov was the head of the Department of Internal Affairs of the Kungrad region.

Former Minister of Internal Affairs of Karakalpakstan Amanbai Orynbaev left his post due to a transfer to another job. He became the first deputy chairman of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Karakalpakstan on ecology and development of the Aral Sea region.
