Chairman of the Jokargy Kenes, Supreme Council of Karakalpakstan, Murat Kamalov resigned due to illness. In his place, the candidacy of the former head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Amanbay Orinbaev is being considered.
President Shavkat Mirziyoyev participates in the extraordinary 34th meeting of the Jokargy Kenes of the Republic of Karakalpakstan.
During the meeting, the appeal of Murat Kamalov, the head of Karakalpakstan, on the suspension of his powers and dismissal from his post due to illness was considered and approved.
After that, the candidacy of Amanbay Orinbaev, recommended for the post of Chairman of the Jokargy Kenes, was considered in accordance with the decision of the Council of Elders of Karakalpakstan.
Orinbaev Amanbay described the existing problems in Karakalpakstan in terms of entrepreneurship development, development of the agricultural sector, increase in industrial projects, infrastructure development, social protection of the population, education and youth support and his proposals for their solution. He asked the President for help in allocating the necessary resources for the full implementation of these plans.
