President Mirziyoyev receives delegation of Indian state Gujarat
Regular contacts at the highest level, including visits to Delhi in October 2018 and Gandhinagar (the administrative center of Gujarat) in January of this year have allowed to bring bilateral multifaceted relations to a qualitatively new stage.
On 22 October, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev received the delegation of Gujarat (India), headed by the Chief Minister of state, Vijay Rupani.
Warmly welcoming the guests, President Mirziyoyev highlighted the dynamic development of multifaceted cooperation, strengthening of friendship and strategic partnership between Uzbekistan and India.

In turn, Vijay Rupani expressed deep gratitude to the leader of Uzbekistan for the warm welcome and conveyed sincere words of greeting and best wishes of Indian Prime Minister Narendra modi.
The high guest noted that the meetings and negotiations within the framework of this visit of the Gujarat delegation, held in Andijan, Samarkand, Bukhara and Tashkent, are aimed primarily at promoting the full implementation of the agreements reached at the highest level.
