Russia lifts epidemiological restrictions on entry for foreigners
Russia has decided to lift epidemiological restrictions on the entry of foreign citizens arriving by air, train, as well as through sea checkpoints.
Deputy Prime Minister Tatyana Golikova held a meeting at the operational headquarters to prevent the importation and spread of new coronavirus infections in Russia.
“Following the discussions, the members of the operational headquarters decided to lift epidemiological restrictions from June 14, 2022. Corresponding changes will be made to the order of the Russian government of March 16, 2020, and the order of March 27, 2020,” the message says.
At the meeting, it was emphasized that restrictions on the entry of citizens of Uzbekistan into Russia by rail would be lifted.
“From June 14, railway communication on the routes Tashkent - Samara and Tashkent - Volgograd is resumed. The frequency of flights will be once a week on each route,” the statement says.
