Senate holds meeting with delegation of OSCE Parliamentary Assembly
The parties noted the progress made by Uzbekistan in the field of human rights and freedoms, as well as the importance of holding the first Asian forum on human rights in Samarkand on November 22-23, which will be attended by members of the OSCE PA delegation.
Chairman of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis, Nigmatilla Yuldoshev held a meeting with a delegation of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly headed by Chairman George Tsereteli.
The meeting discussed priorities of cooperation between Uzbekistan and the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly.
Uzbekistan is currently engaged in constructive cooperation with OSCE institutions, including the Parliamentary Assembly.
