Central Asia ibex caught on camera trap in Gissar National Reserve
The State Ecology Committee of Uzbekistan is studying footage from camera traps installed on the territory of the Gissar National Reserve.
The camera traps installed seasonally, react to movement and can record photos and videos in color and in good quality.
Having studied the footage from the camera traps, the park staff noticed a deer, scientifically known as the Siberian ibex.
Ibex usually live in high, hard-to-reach mountains. The Gissar National Reserve is also a permanent place of residence for these animals.
According to the staff of the reserve, as a result of consistent conservation measures, their number increases in subsequent years.
At the same time, their way of life and reproduction are under constant control of the State Committee for Ecology.
Previously, a snow leopard was captured in a camera trap.
