Ombudsman reports on state of health of Gulnara Karimova

The Human Rights Commissioner of the Oliy Majlis (Ombudsman) has examined the conditions of detention of persons in custody and serving sentences.
In June, the monitoring group headed by the Ombudsman visited the general regime colony for women No. 21, located in the Zangiata district of Tashkent region.
The Ombudsman held collective meetings with more than 700 convicted women, as well as organized personal reception of 87 women.
