Park named after Erkin Vohidov established

Recently, relatives, friends, and fans of the renowned poet and Hero of Uzbekistan, Erkin Vahidov, gathered to share warm memories and celebrate his life and work. This event marked the first large-scale festival dedicated to the poet in Uzbekistan. The primary purpose of the event was to honor the great poet, foster a love for the Uzbek language among young people through his works, and promote their education in the spirit of patriotism.

One unique feature of the festival is its lively atmosphere, with sincere conversations taking place in the open nature at the Green Hills Resort. Originally planned to be held in a traditional manner, the event gained a more uplifting spirit with performances by contemporary poets and artists.

At the opening ceremony, a proposal was made to create a garden named after Erkin Vohidov to honor his memory.

Some people are gifted with extraordinary talent, unique thinking, intelligence, creativity, and high potential. Through research, hard work, and creativity, they grow up to become perfect individuals and, one day, the pride of the entire nation. Such a strong figure from the past is undoubtedly the Hero of Uzbekistan, national poet, Erkin Vohidov. As part of the festival, special contests were held in memory of great poet, including the bahru bayt competition. The winner was a student from the Erkin Vohidov Creative School.

The event continued with musical performances based on the poet's poems by artists, along with presentations of pieces from Erkin Vohidov's stage works.
