Tashkent Introduces 200 King Long Electric Buses
Electric buses with a large capacity have begun operating in Tashkent. According to President's Decree No. 59 dated February 16, 2023, Tashkent has purchased 200 ultra-large-capacity "King Long" buses from Xiamen King Long United Automotive Industry Co., Ltd. As a bonus, 2 additional "King Long" electric buses were provided.
Following the completion of testing and the issuance of special certificates for drivers, these large-capacity electric buses will be put into service starting December 6, 2023. The buses will operate on bus route No. 14, "TTZ ASHB - Tashkent station," which is part of the "2-bus palace" branch.
