Tashkent to increase number of electric buses
"We are ready to create a working group and prepare a technical task for a set of measures - both to increase the number of electric buses and to localize production. We know that Uzbekistan's neighbors are closely following the experience of using electric buses and we can be sure that localized production will find customers, " said Vladimir Korol.
Tashkent city Khokimiyat held a meeting with the delegation of the Republic of Belarus headed by Vladimir Korol, the General Director of JSC "Management company of Belkomunmash holding".
The parties discussed the issues of increasing the number of electric buses in Tashkent, and to localize their production in Uzbekistan in the future.
Welcoming the guests, the First Deputy of the Khokim for architecture, capital construction and development of communications Davron Hidoyatov noted that the electric bus has already become native and familiar to the residents of the capital. But one electric bus is not enough for the city, it is not profitable to keep the staff and maintain the charging station because of one car, you need 10 or 20 electric buses, and this is just for the beginning.
