UN Office on HIV/AIDS opens in Uzbekistan

The joint United Nations Programme on HIV/AIDS (UNAIDS) Country Office has opened in Uzbekistan.
HIV infection remains an acute problem for the whole world. According to international experts, Uzbekistan has set itself bold goals to achieve the goal of "90-90-90" and is working to fulfill its commitments. Continuing at the same pace, it is necessary to unite, make maximum use of the opportunities of all those who work in this area, and together with activists, civil society and international organizations to move at an accelerated pace to fulfill these tasks.
