Uzbek-Kyrgyz border conflict stabilized

According to Turmush.kg, residents of the villages of Chechme (Kyrgyzstan) and Chashma (Uzbekistan) had been cleaning the spring. One of the parties at some point started claiming that the water source belongs to one of the parties, a verbal altercation then turned into a conflict involving other parties.
"Responsible heads of local authorities of the two states met to resolve the situation on the specified border territory," the press service of the border troops of the State Security Service of Uzbekistan reported.
The situation is currently under control.
Appropriate measures are being taken to eliminate the causes and consequences of the conflict.
