Uzbek Universities Take Spots in QS Asia Rankings 2024
In the QS Asia University Rankings 2024, 14 universities from six regions in Uzbekistan made it to the top positions among the best universities in Asia. Among them, six universities secured first place.
This year, 856 universities from 25 countries, including 148 for the first time, participated in the rankings, evaluating criteria such as international recognition, research development, education quality, global cooperation, and academic mobility.
Three Uzbek universities—UzMU, "TIKKHMMI" MTU, and TDIU—earned spots within the "TOP-200" universities based on the "Academic Reputation" indicator. UzMU leads in "Academic Reputation," ranking 135th. Notably, seven higher education institutions improved their standings in this regard.
MTU "TIKKHMMI" attained the 208th place for "Reputation among employers" and ranked 124th for the "Professor-Teacher and Student Ratio" indicator. These advancements demonstrate the progress of these institutions in the rankings.
