Representatives of the parties discussed the program of public-private partnership in the transport sector, profile projects, research and PPP options. The implementation of these initiatives will be a powerful incentive for the growth of the economy as a whole. In particular, the construction of roads will lead to an increase in regional trade, reducing time and financial costs for entrepreneurs. The implementation of the presidential decree and the Law "On public-private partnership" set to help to increase the investment attractiveness of Uzbekistan.
According to the Ministry of Finance, currently 10 PPP projects totaling $2 billion are under development.
In addition, a project for the construction of a new Tashkent-Andijan highway is being prepared jointly with the World Bank.
