Uzbekistan to implement new energy saving technologies
The Decree guarantees installment of solar photovoltaic stations and solar water heaters in private houses, as well as replacement of nonstandard gas burner devices with updated technology.
President Shavkat Mirziyayev has adopted a resolution on the introduction of new energy-saving technologies and development of renewable energy sources.
The Decree guarantees installment of solar photovoltaic stations and solar water heaters in private houses, as well as replacement of nonstandard gas burner devices with updated technology.
Starting from January 1, 2020 individuals are to get compensated 30 percent of cost of solar photovoltaic stations, solar water heaters, as well as energy-efficient gas burner devices, but not more than:
3 million UZS for solar photovoltaic stations;
1.5 million UZS for solar water heaters;
200 thousand UZS for gas burner devices.
Starting from September 1, 2019, resolution prohibits the import of second hand generating equipment, power step-down transformers, electronic motors and others.
