Belt wrestling: our compatriots won a total of 36 medals at the World Championship and Cup!
From November 1 to November 6 of this year, the World Belt Wrestling Championship among 15-17-year-old boys and girls and the World Cup among adults were held in Kazan, Russia.
On November 1-3, more than 300 athletes from 26 countries took part in the World Championship. gold, Jorabek Mamadaliyev (50 kg.), Orolbek Sarabekov (71 kg.), Fatikh Polatov (77 kg.), Javahirbek Nu'monjonov (+95 kg.), Nilufar Isokova (+70 kg.) silver, Fozilbek Abdurakhmatov (45 kg. .), Asadbek Ikramov (60 kg.), Muhammadkadir Karimjonov (65 kg.), Kuvonchbek Azimov (71 kg.), Shodilbek Shodilbekov (85 kg.), Shokhrukhbek Shodahmadov, Nafruzbek Mamayusupov (95 kg.), Dyorbek Yakubov (+ 95 kg.) Arofatkhan Muhamadova (48 kg.), Gavhar Abdusobirova (57 kg.), Rozikhan Ganijonova (63 kg.), Mehriniso Karimova (70 kg.) won the bronze medal.
After the end of the World Cup, on November 4-5, the World Cup competitions were held between men and women. Our representatives took part in this World Cup competition and won 1 gold, 2 silver,  6 bronze medals in the classical category, and 1 silver and 6 bronze medals in the freestyle category.
Our compatriots Mironshoh Roziyev, Elmurod Abdullayev, Jamshid Egamov worked as referees at the held world championship and cup.
During the visit, Rustam Boboqulov reached agreements within the framework of cooperation with the Ministry of Sports of the Republic of Bashkortostan of the Russian Federation. According to the agreement, as well as the proposal of the World Belt Wrestling Association, a delegation led by the Minister of Sports of the Republic of Bashkortostan, Ruslan Khabibov, will visit our country in the third ten days of November this year.
It should be noted that in 2019, a memorandum was signed between the Tashkent regional government and the Ministry of Sports of the Republic of Tatarstan. Therefore, on November 3, the head of the main sports development department of the Tashkent region, Rustam Boboqulov, visited Tatarstan with eight regional wrestlers from the national team.
Four athletes from the Tashkent region who participated in the competition won medals.
