For information, the 59-year-old specialist worked in the Lokomotiv, Neftchi and Bunyodkor clubs, as well as in the Olympic and national teams of Uzbekistan. Vadim Karlenovich worked as the head coach of the Uzbekistan national team in the 2019-2021 season. He was sacked after losing to Saudi Arabia in a 2022 World Cup qualifier.
Vadim Abramov also headed the Tashkent clubs Tractor (2003-2007) and Lokomotiv (2008-2010), Kazakhstan Astana (2013) during his career. The national team of Uzbekistan under his leadership took fourth place at the Asian Cup in 2011.
