UZINFOCOM becomes Single integrator for creation and support of state information systems
The President of the Republic of Uzbekistan adopted a Decree, according to which the Center for development and introduction of computer and information technologies UZINFOCOM has been reorganized into a Single integrator for the creation and support of public information systems.
The President of the Republic of Uzbekistan adopted a Decree, according to which the Center for development and introduction of computer and information technologies UZINFOCOM has been reorganized into a Single integrator for the creation and support of public information systems.
According to the document, the Single integrator is responsible for:
- ensuring the development, implementation and integration of information systems, resources and software products in the system "Electronic government" and information technologies in the economy;
- implementation of complex measures on improvement of the quality of rendering of electronic state services to citizens and business entities;
- promoting the development of the domestic market of ICT and software products;
- implementation of measures to ensure the technological security of the infrastructure of "Electronic government";
- assisting in increasing the export potential of the domestic market of information and communication technologies and software products through expanding the range of high-tech products and services in accordance with international standards.
