This international forum was organized in cooperation with the Imam Bukhari International Research Center, the Islamic History, Art and Culture Research Center and the Ministry of Tourism and Cultural Heritage of the Republic of Uzbekistan, reports the Office of Muslims of Uzbekistan.
It is noted that an international exhibition on the topic "Ancient copies of the Holy Qur'an kept in the funds of Uzbekistan" will be organized within the framework of the forum. Seven rare and ancient copies of the Holy Quran kept in the library of the Office of Muslims of Uzbekistan will also be presented at this exhibition.
Also, according to the information of Imam Bukhari International Scientific Research Center, within the framework of the forum, a festival and a trade fair of Islamic applied arts on the topic of "Book culture in Movarounnahr" and "Issues of improving the system of preservation and research of ancient written sources" will be held. an international conference will be organized.
About 300 participants from more than 40 countries are expected to participate in the international forum.
