April 10 birthday of Abdullah Kadiri, founder of Uzbek novel
Kadiri was born on April 10, 1894, in Tashkent. First, he studied at a Muslim school, then at a Russian school. After graduating, he enriched his knowledge by studying at Sheikh Abul Qasim Madrassah and an academic course in Moscow.
During his career, Kadiri worked as sarko-secretary of the Food Committee in the Old City of Tashkent, as editor of "Ozik ishi" newspaper, as Sarko-secretary of the Council of Cities, and as a member of the editorial board of "Mushtum" magazine.
Kadiri made a significant contribution to the development of Uzbek literature with his story "Ulokda", novels 'O'tgan kunlar" and "Scorpion from the altar", the novella "Obid ketmon".
