22 districts to specialize in cultivation of reproductive rice seeds
Starting from June 1, legal entities that have been accredited in accordance with the established procedure will be allowed to issue certificates.
In accordance with the decree of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, elite seed farms are set to be established on the basis of rice-growing clusters or rice-growing farms in areas where rice cultivation is allowed.
In total, 22 districts in the republic will be specialized in the cultivation of reproductive rice seeds, and 17,452 hectares of rice fields will be created there.

In addition, a system of alternating crops in seed farms will be established. At the same time, a science-based crop rotation system will be implemented to prevent the cultivation of rice for more than two years in a single field.
