New "Termiz International Trade Center" project was presented in Surkhandarya

More than 4,000 stores, a logistics center, an international medical center, hotels and hostels, restaurants and public catering outlets, as well as recreation centers are being built within the framework of this project.

Today, on November 7, the presentation of the Termiz international trade center - INTERMEX project was held in the city of Termiz, Surkhandarya region.The purpose of organizing the activities of the Termiz international trade center is to ensure the free exchange of goods and services between Uzbekistan and Afghanistan and to create favorable conditions for this.
This international trade center is located in Termiz district of Surkhandarya region, near the border of Uzbekistan and Afghanistan. The total area of the project is 260,000 square meters. meters.

This project includes more than 4,000 shops, a manufacturing area, a logistics center for export-import operations, an international medical center, hotels and hostels, restaurants and catering outlets, as well as a large area with an artificial water body. Rest areas are being built. In order to provide convenience to visitors,  service,  gas stations and a number of other infrastructure facilities have been established in the territory of the Termiz International Trade Center.
Also, in order to encourage the activities of entrepreneurs, special tax and customs benefits and a special visa-free regime for citizens of Afghanistan and other neighboring countries for a period of 10 days have been introduced in the territory of Termiz International Trade Center - INTERMEX.
