US and Central Asian countries intend to discuss trade ties in October
The previous TIFA meeting was held on October 21-22, 2019 in Washington.
A virtual plenary session of the US-Central Asia Framework Agreement on Trade and Investment (TIFA) may be held in October. This was announced on September 2 at a meeting between the Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of investment and foreign trade of Uzbekistan Sardor Umurzakov and the US Ambassador to Tashkent Daniel Rosenblum.
