UzAuto Motors: Price of cars is reasonable and no reduction is expected

The Antimonopoly Committee of Uzbekistan held a regular hearing of the case opened against JSC UzAuto Motors.
According to the press service of the company, JSC UzAuto Motors had sent a request to postpone the consideration of the case to a later date. This is due to the fact that additional time is needed to prepare the materials necessary to substantiate disputed issues.
However, the Antimonopoly Committee reviewed the case unilaterally, resulting in a "decision based on incomplete data".
"It is worth noting that the production of cars is a complex process, the study of which requires sufficient time. A more in-depth and thorough study of the activities of "UzAuto Motors" will be possible in the course of further judicial review, the right to which the company intends to use, " the company said in a statement.
The company said that the cost of cars is reasonable and in the current situation, the reduction is not possible.
