Uzbekistan and IFC discuss implementation of PPP-based projects

"These projects will concern almost all areas, such as the construction of airports, water supply. We will consider those projects that will bring more benefits for Uzbekistan and will contribute to the development of the private sector. I can give an example of a project in the field of energy supply – the use of solar energy. It has attracted the interest of many major international investors. This project will be an excellent example of an international tender in Uzbekistan. This solar plant with a total capacity of 100 Megawatts," - commented the Director of IFC for Europe and Central Asia, Wiebke Sleumer.
