Uzbekistan exports the first crop of cherry
Uzbek exporters have already started shipping the new crop of cherries to foreign markets. From May 1 to May 4, about 350 - 400 tons of freshly ripe products were exported, and shipments began in Uzbekistan 4-5 days earlier than in 2021.

The export cherry variety "Bahor" ("Spring") is the first in Uzbekistan, and the season of shipment of new harvest cherries begins with it. Cherries of calibre from 20 to 26 mm are exported.
"Depending on the quality and type of packaging, shipping prices for cherry calibre are closer to the upper limit of the specified range, fluctuate in redevelopments 50 000 – 70 000 soum/kg, taking into account the packaging and the costs of refining products," said a local farmer.
