Uzbekistan to build Free Tourism Zone "Charvak"
Uzbekistan`s tourism needs further effective measures for its development, analyses show. With this in mind, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev adopted a Decree "On establishment of the Free Tourist Zone "Charvak".
Uzbekistan`s tourism needs further effective measures for its development, analyses show. With this in mind, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev adopted a Decree "On establishment of the Free Tourism Zone "Charvak". In the framework of the document, it is planned to implement investment projects in the Chimgan-Charvak resort recreational zone, develop the transport and communal infrastructure, create new tourist routes, as well as to improve the quality of tourist services.
The adoption of the Decree is a logical continuation of the state policy in the field of tourism. It aims at developing and improving the efficiency of use of tourist potential of Tashkent region, creation of new jobs and growth of incomes of the population.
Given the unique resort and recreational conditions of the Tashkent region, it is planned to build modern hotels, cultural and recreational, shopping and other tourist objects, as well as objects of modern engineering infrastructure.
The Free Tourism Zone "Charvak" will be the first of its kind zone in Uzbekistan.
