MFA: Five rockets hit in Termez
MFA: Five rockets were dropped in Termez. The shells are believed to have flown from Afghanistan.
On July 5, at about 4:20 p.m., five rocket projectiles were reported to have flown over from the territory of Afghanistan in the border area of Uzbekistan.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan, no explosions occurred when the shells fell, as a result of which there were no human casualties and no destruction. Minor damage was caused to four private houses in the mahalla "Majnuntol" in Termez, and the fifth rocket was found on the football field. The discovered shells were neutralized by a sapper unit.
Currently, the competent authorities of Uzbekistan, together with the Afghan side, are implementing the necessary measures to establish the causes of this incident.
