Uzbek and British Foreign Ministers Bakhtiyor Saidov and David Cameron have discussed strengthening Uzbek-British cooperation.
"We are pleased to meet David Cameron, the newly appointed Secretary of State for Foreign, Commonwealth, and Development Affairs of the UK, and discuss the main directions of Uzbek-British co-operation," Saidov wrote in his Telegram channel.
The two sides considered further steps to strengthen bilateral relations, as well as proposals to boost trade and economic ties.
Senior diplomats from more than 50 countries arrived in Skopje, North Macedonia, to participate in the Council of Member States of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe. Ukraine, the Baltic States, and Poland declined to participate in the event because of an invitation from Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov.
