President Shavkat Mirziyoyev met with the president of Tatarstan, Rustam Minnikhanov. According to the information, the parties discussed issues of implementing priority investment projects and further deepening cultural and humanitarian exchange.
Parties noted high results of fruitful cooperation in recent years. The volume of mutual trade and investment is growing. Chemical-industrial technopark "Chirchik" in the Tashkent region operates successfully. Major cooperation projects in petrochemicals and mechanical engineering are underway. A branch of Kazan Federal University in Jizzakh is expanding its activities.
During the meeting, the sides discussed promising projects of business partnership in various economic sectors, issues of existing development and the opening of new industrial parks in other regions of the country.
At the end of the meeting, Shavkat Mirziyoyev underlined the importance of organising systematic work to promote joint programs and projects based on the "road map".
