Shavkat Mirziyoyev supports implementation of high-tech projects by Air Products
On May 26, Shavkat Mirziyoyev received Seifi Ghasemi, CEO of Air Products.
The two sides considered the issues of further expansion of practical cooperation with US company, which is a global leader in the promotion of high-tech projects in the strategic sectors of Uzbekistan's economy.
President Shavkat Mirziyoyev congratulated the head of the company on the successful completion of the agreement on the purchase of three industrial gas equipment of the "GTL" plant in Kashkadarya region, involving direct investments in the amount of $1 bln, and the signing of the relevant agreement.
"Air Products" is participating in another large project - the construction of a gas-chemical complex based on MTO technology in the Bukhara region, attracting investments of at least $700 mln.
