Tashkent opens Uzbek-Korean Cooperation Center for E-government and Digital Economy
The parties indicated that the strategic partnership between Uzbekistan and Korea in the development of the digital economy and e-government will bring mutually beneficial results.
On January 30, 2020, the National Agency for Project Management under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan (hereinafter – the Agency) hosted the opening ceremony of the joint Uzbek-Korean cooperation Center for E-Government and Digital Economy (hereinafter-the Center). The event saw the Agency's Director Dmitry Lee and the delegation of the Republic of Korea, headed by Deputy Minister of State Administration and Security, Yoon Jong-In.
The parties indicated that the strategic partnership between Uzbekistan and Korea in the development of the digital economy and e-government will bring mutually beneficial results.
The Korean side noted its readiness to provide experts who will participate in the development of the e-government system, as well as to organize short-and long-term training courses for specialists of the Agency and government agencies to get acquainted with the experience of Korea.
