Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan Strengthen Economic Ties

President Shavkat Mirziyoyev met with Kazakhstan's Prime Minister, Alikhan Smailov, during the Economic Cooperation Organization summit in Uzbekistan. The Prime Minister conveyed President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev’s greetings.

The President expressed satisfaction with the growing strategic partnership and alliance between Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan. They discussed implementing agreements related to trade, industrial cooperation, and logistics projects.

Both leaders emphasized the importance of maintaining effective operations within the joint intergovernmental commission.
