Vladimir Imamovich Norov has been dismissed from the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan post due to his transition to another job. President Shavkat Mirziyoyev signed the decree.
By another decree of the head of state, Bakhtiyor Odilovich Saidov was appointed to the position of Minister of Foreign Affairs (previously worked as the Minister of Public Education of Uzbekistan).
Bakhtiyor Saidov (born in 1981) is a graduate of Tashkent State University of Economics (bachelor's and master's degrees). Previously worked in the Cabinet of Ministers and the Ministry of Investment and Foreign Trade.
