Andijan state technical university to be established
With the president's decree, Andijan State Technical University will be established based on the Andijan Machinery, Economics, and Construction Institutes, as well as the Andijan branch of the Tashkent Institute of Textile and Light Industry. The university will train specialists in automotive, electrical engineering, energy, textiles, engineering, construction, and other industrial sectors.
Starting from the 2025/2026 academic year, the university will expand its training in energy engineering, artificial intelligence, mechatronics, and robotics. It will also implement a system for evaluating students' academic performance and professors' effectiveness according to international standards. As a result, all students studying at the Andijan Machinery Institute, Andijan Economics and Construction Institute, and the Andijan branch of the Tashkent Institute of Textile and Light Industry will continue their education at the new university. From the 2024/2025 academic year, graduating students will receive a university diploma.
