Students are allowed to work as doctors if they pass clinical exams. From the 2024/2025 academic year, a two-stage state examination system will be introduced in all state and non-state medical higher education institutions.
At the 1st stage, students pass the final state exams in fundamental sciences, and at the 2nd stage, the level of mastery of clinical sciences is evaluated. Those who successfully pass the preliminary exam are allowed to transfer from one course to another, and those who show good results in clinical knowledge tests are allowed to work as doctors in practice.

With the relevant order of the Minister of Health, in order to organize examinations for clinical residency and internship in the 2023/2024 academic year, the set of subjects to be tested, evaluation criteria and the group of experts who form them were approved.
The news is that from this year, entrance exams for clinical residency and internship will be completely free of the human factor. Hitherto, the interview-based admission process will be stopped.
Now, entrance exams for clinical residency and internship specialties at medical higher education institutions and their branches, the Center for the Development of Professional Qualifications of Medical Workers, republican specialized scientific and practical medical centers, scientific research institutes are conducted by the Knowledge and Skills Assessment Agency on the basis of one-stage tests. will be held.
