In just 9 months of 2021, Uzbekistan saw over 1.1 mn foreign citizens arrived in the republic for tourism purposes. According to the state statistics committee, the majority of foreign nationals, or more than 950 thousand people entered Uzbekistan to visit relatives. Nearly, 106.6 thousand people arrived in the republic for travel purposes and over 40 thousand – for service purposes. Nearly 18 thousand people arrived for treatment purposes.
More than 10 thousand people arrived for commercial and 4.8 thousand – for training purposes.
