New Textbook Enables Easy Learning of Uzbek Language for Foreigners
The "Uzbek School" at Tashkent State University of Uzbek Language and Literature has created a new textbook called "Uzbek Language for Foreigners" aimed at A2 level learners. The textbook builds upon basic knowledge of the Uzbek language and focuses on four language skills: speaking, writing, reading, and listening. It includes audio and video materials to enhance the learning experience.
One unique aspect of this textbook is that it provides instructions and comments in English, along with translations of the words used in each lesson into English, French, Korean, Turkish, and Russian. It also offers various assignments, QR codes for videos, and imitation audios to encourage critical thinking, adaptability to different speech situations, and vocabulary enrichment.
The main goal of this textbook is to help language learners develop practical competences, enabling them to effectively communicate their thoughts in oral and written form in everyday situations. The Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Innovation supports these textbooks as a valuable resource for foreigners to independently or collaboratively learn the Uzbek language at an elementary level.
