Niagara Falls to be painted in colors of the Uzbek flag
On the occasion of the 31st anniversary of the Independence Day of Uzbekistan, lighting in the colors of the Uzbek flag will appear at Niagara Falls.
According to the Embassy of Uzbekistan, this flag will be reflected on the waterfall on September 1 at 7:30 a.m. Tashkent time. The backlight will be displayed for 15 minutes. Uzbek residents from all over Canada and the USA are planning to arrive at the waterfall to see Niagara illuminated by the national flag firsthand.
In addition, the Uzbek diplomatic mission plans to celebrate Independence Day in Niagara together with its residents. On the occasion of the holiday, a solemn reception with Uzbek dances and songs will be held, guests will be invited. There will also be an opportunity to taste traditional Uzbek pilaf.
