On June 22, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev held a telephone conversation with the first President of the Republic of Kazakhstan – Nursultan Nazarbayev.
At the beginning of the conversation, Shavkat Mirziyoyev wished Nursultan Nazarbayev a speedy recovery, good health and energy.
The parties discussed joint measures taken by the two governments to prevent the spread of coronavirus infection, as well as to minimize the negative impact of the consequences of the pandemic on the dynamically developing bilateral relations and the economies of Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan. The importance of further strengthening the coordination of joint efforts in these areas was emphasized.
