Talipoch Fortress to receive $ 1 bln restoration aid
The Ministry of Tourism and Cultural Heritage of Uzbekistan has allocated $ 1 billion to repair the Talipoch Fortress Gate which was destroyed by the ongoing heavy rains in the Bukhara region.
According to the "Address list of tangible cultural heritage objects for preservation in 2022" approved by the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan in March this year, the restoration of this site will be carried out by the Directorate for Restoration of Cultural Heritage.
Currently, the specialists are carrying out the pre-project work.
