The work of female military personnel, who serve shoulder to shoulder with male military personnel, is incomparable in increasing the prestige and combat power of the national army of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
Based on this, the "Tomaris" badge was established in order to support the female military servicemen who make a worthy contribution to increase the defense power, preserve the international harmony, peace and stability prevailing in the society.
In this regard, Shavkat Mirziyoyev's decision "On establishment of Tomaris" badge" was adopted.
By the decision, the statute on the "To'maris" badge and the "To'maris" badge and its certificate were approved.
According to the document, State Emblem of the Central Bank of Uzbekistan prepares the "Tomaris" badge and its certificate based on the orders of relevant ministries and agencies.
The badge is solemnly presented by the heads of ministries and agencies (or other responsible persons according to their assignment) on the eve of the Day of Defenders of the Fatherland, January 14.
