Turkish delegation visits Uzbekistan`s famous cities
According to the country`s Tourism Committee, the delegates also visited Uzbekistan`s famous cities, as Khiva and Bukhara. The guests enjoyed cultural events in the Ichan-Kala complex in Khiva, an open-air museum city, and a theatrical performance of the Khorezm Regional Puppet Theater.
The Turkish delegation led by Foreign Minister Mevlud Cavusoglu arrived in Samarkand on March 7 to attend the opening of the Consulate General of the Republic of Turkey. The opening ceremony also saw Deputy Prime Minister of Uzbekistan Aziz Abdukhakimov, Foreign Minister of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Komilov and mayor of Samarkand region Erkinjon Turdimov.

After that, the delegation visited Bukhara. In particular, they paid a visit to a number of attractions, such as the Poyi Kalon complex, the Mir Arab Madrasah, and the Labi Khovuz complex. They met with local craftsmen and got acquainted with their national products.
