A briefing was held at AIMK regarding the introduction of a unified school uniform in the 2022-2023 academic year. The Minister of Public Education issued a statement that school uniforms will not be compulsory in the new academic year.
“Given that the adaptation process will take some time, a unified school uniform will be introduced gradually until 2025,” said Minister of Public Education Bakhtiyor Saidov.

The design of the school uniform was chosen from several options, and its compliance with the quality requirements for textile products in terms of compliance with sanitary standards and hygiene rules was strictly controlled.

“We are ready to consider any suggestions from parents and students on the design and quality of school uniforms, as well as to jointly improve the design of clothes. And in the near future, the ministry plans to organize a press conference, which will provide information on reforms in the public education system and the work carried out in preparation for the new academic year,” the minister said.
