Uzbek doctors to work in Kuwaiti hospitals

Doctors and nurses from Uzbekistan are being drawn to hospitals in Kuwait. Additionally, the Kuwaiti representative interested to establish medical educational center called the "Training Center" in Uzbekistan. This center aims to enhance the skills of Uzbek doctors and nurses, ultimately encouraging them to work in Kuwaiti hospitals.

During the meeting between the two sides, discussions centered on the prospects of bilateral cooperation in medicine, as well as current and forthcoming projects. The Kuwaiti delegation was briefed on Uzbekistan's extensive healthcare reforms and efforts to attract foreign investments and grants, particularly in equipping hospitals with modern medical technologies. Talks also touched upon the potential for conducting eye and heart surgeries in Uzbekistan.

Dr. Muhammad Hasan al-Kandari highlighted his previous visit to Uzbekistan in September 2022, where he, along with representatives from the "An-Nur" charity fund and the "HOPE" organization of Kuwait, performed various surgical procedures.  Following the negotiations, both parties agreed to arrange an online meeting with relevant Uzbek organizations to further explore these opportunities.
