Uzbek passport ranks 85th in the World Passport Index
The consulting company Henley & Partners, based on data from the International Air Transport Association, published the results of the World Passport Index for the first quarter of 2023. Uzbek passport rises from 88th to 85th due to changes in the positions of other countries. Citizens of Uzbekistan can travel to 59 countries of the world without a visa. No visa-free travel agreements were signed in Uzbekistan during the reporting period.
Japan ranks 1st in the list of the most powerful passports in the world for the fifth year in a row. Japanese people can visit 193 out of 227 countries without a visa (or by obtaining a visa when arriving in the country). Singapore and South Korea ranked second with 192 visa-free destinations
