Uzbekistan rises in global IQ ranking
The International IQ Registry has released data on average IQ levels across various countries worldwide. The global average IQ is 100. China holds the top position with a score of 107.43, followed by Iran and South Korea in the top three. Uzbekistan ranks 69th with an average IQ of 96.98.
The ranking is based on data from 1.4 million people worldwide who took the same test in 2024. Some countries were excluded due to a lack of available data. 8,986 people from Uzbekistan participated in the test. Last year, the score was 94.81, showing an increase of 2.17 points this year.
Among Central Asian countries, Kazakhstan ranks 66th (97.27), Kyrgyzstan ranks 84th (95.0), Tajikistan ranks 96th (93.75), and there is no data available for Turkmenistan.
Researchers believe that countries with higher average IQ levels tend to have populations that promote healthy eating habits, engage in intellectual activities, and maintain well-developed healthcare systems.
